Alex Pereira is on the warm sequence of a life, but if there is one thing that we know about Las Vegas, it is that everyone’s luck is ultimately exhausted.
“Poatan” defends its light heavyweight title for the fourth consecutive time on Saturday in the main UFC 313 event, and for the third time in “Sin City”. His last two headliners of Vegas have been fortuitous when he marked memorable KOs of Jiri Properzka and Jamahal Hill, and he pushes his tokens to face Magomed Ankalaev, the legitimate competitor n ° 1.
Ankalaev is undefeated in 13 consecutive competitions, and it was not for a last second defeat during his beginnings in UFC in 2018 and some strange results along the way, there is a world where he became champion years ago. However, Pereira – No. 2 In the MMA Fighting Pound For Pound – classification exceeded the contenders in two divisions with a third perhaps in sight, so there is a lot on the line this evening in addition to the gold around the size of the Brazilian slugger.
Is Ankalaev about to be the ultimate spoiler?
In another action of the main map, Justin Gaethje meets Rafael Fiziev in an unexpected light revenge match, the 155ers dominant Jalin Turner and Ignacio Bahamondes Off, the title of unique straw title, the Challenger Amanda Lemos Met Iasmin Lucindo in the test, and King Green looks to slow down the WHITE Nerds lips when he fights against Maurricio Ruffy in the White Nerds lip team when he fights against Maurricio Ruffy in the lips fight team.

Alex Pereira’s race at the top was a joy to look at, which makes even more difficult to choose against him.
Look, I don’t do it to want Pereira to lose a dreary decision at Magomed Ankalaev and miss a chance to switch to heavy goods vehicles to have the chance to become the first champion of three UFC divisions. The MMA is supposed to be fun and the meritocracy is damned, it would be incredibly fun! But Ankalaev will take care of business on Saturday.
It will not fight. I know that everyone expects Ankalaev going to Khabib full here and just pulling simple legs for 25 minutes, but that will not work against Pereira and his well -improved ground play. You can make it fall, but keeping it on the ground is another story, and it is only a waste of energy from Ankalaev.
It is the threat of withdrawal which is the key to Ankalaev’s success. He will get Pereira early, just to make him think, and it will open his striking game. Ankalaev is frequently struck so as not to push the pace in the stand-up, which is right, but when he sees openings, he generally finds a way to finish.
The keys to Pereira’s victory are no secret. Keep the fight standing and let these magic hands fly. Each exchange puts Ankalaev at the risk of a knock-out, and if Pereira can find its rhythm on the feet, there are few Ankalaevs can do other than the shooting of panic.
If the Pereira era ends on Saturday, it’s just that it happens dramaticly. After abandoning two of the first three laps with Ankalaev’s methodical tactics, the champion accelerates the assault in the championship rounds, to be asleep in the fourth.
Yeah, I’m going to Ankalaev by KO.
Take: Anka
Justin Gaethje against Rafael Fiziev may not be as fun as some of the other possibilities we could have for the replacement of Dan Hooker, but it is always a fight between two of the best light attackers in the world, and I do not take this for granted.
Their first meeting was as entertaining as near and the Revenge match promises to be another thriller. It’s just a perfect match, with a simple style of Gaethje style perfectly with the more angular approach of Fiziev. The only disappointment is that they could not make a five round.
I had Fiziev winning the first match of two laps and I predict the rights of the universe itself this time. It is not fair for Gaethje to lose a potential title in a kick that he did not intend to give, but Fiziev is about to make a strong return and “the highest point” is just in his own way.
They come back to a decision, Fiziev winning a unanimous head nod.

Finally, these two choose someone with their own size!
I find a dark comic strip that the Ginormous Jalin Turner and Ignacio Bahamondes cut all these books this week just to meet an opponent with almost identical dimensions, but it is the bizarre game that these gentlemen have chosen to play.
Turner has lost three of his last four, but his setbacks shared against Dan Hooker and Mateusz Gamrot have actually talked more about his potential than anything else. Sometimes, “the Tarentule” seems that he has only two or three adjustments (or perhaps a new category of weight?) Far from doing so on this bump of the top 10 (let’s forget the Renato Moicano dubbing has just given it). He has had the upward experience of the elite, which is more than Bahamondes so far.
Bahamondes is actually the place where Turner was in 2023 when he took a competition, but now it was Turner who plays the goalkeeper. I trust the stand-up and the end of Turner a little more, so I lean towards him by beating Bahamondes with a punch and finishing the first.
Take: Turner
We have not seen the best of Iasmin Lucindo in his last outing, which is understandable since she faced the Marina Rodriguez always difficult. However, she used her grappling to eliminate an attentive call, and like Turner, has probably learned a ton of the experience.
Enough to pass Amanda Lemos? I am not convinced. Lucindo’s stand-up still needs work and the Lemos can match it on the feet and on the ground. It’s fascinating to see the 23 -year -old young woman evolve in real time, but Rodriguez did not allow herself a lot of room for errors and Lemos either.
Lemos throws Lucindo with her strike, causing her to tackle, which Lemos will be more than happy to do. We will be treated with a few animated fogs, the Lemos have finally won the offensive edge and catch Lucindo with a submission.
Take: Lemos
King Green against Mauricio Ruffy is another fantastic matchmaking game to open payment in sight. The two guys will be loose like a goose hands closer to their knees than to protect their faces and there will be a real feeling that anything can happen once the fists and the feet are starting to fly.
As with many fighters known for flashy finishes, there are questions concerning the Cardio de Ruffy. Is Green possible an early storm and increase the heat in the middle, then survive Ruffy, or was the father’s time really caught up with the veteran of 50 fights? One thing to keep in mind is that when the green loses these days, it goes down hard. His last four defeats all came by Knockout or submission.
Green remains competitive at 38, but I cannot exceed the age factor. A large part of this match will be determined by speed and athletics, which are both strongly in favor of Ruffy.
Ruffy by Knockout in the first or at the start of the second.
