Tony Khan wants to make sure when he gets a television contract for the ring of Honor, it’s real.
All Elite wrestling President Tony Khan recently participated in Revolutionary media call. When asked about the potential to ensure a television agreement for the ring of Honor, Khan said they were talking at the country and internationally, but that he did not rush to the deal, so when the agreement was made, it was the best possible.
“That’s a great question,” said Tony Khan. “We had great conversations about it in the country and international level. I want to be sure that when we make an agreement, let’s make the best possible offer, “said Tony Khan.” So, I didn’t rush. We currently have so many exciting things that happen around AEW.
“Just a few months ago, we started streaming on Max. It’s been only a few months, just over two months when the shows were simulated and that was a great success. And then, just yesterday, we announced a new partnership with the Amazon for this Sunday Pay-Per-View Revolution and all the upcoming AEW Pay-Per-Views.
Tony Khan sees the potential in the future Ring of Honor
“I think, as we get all our business lines to plan and plan these new revenues, I think Ring of Honor had so much potential. There is a lot of really exciting things around the company. I think we had a great final battlefield in Hammerstein last year.
“And absolutely the ring of Honor we had great conversations about it with TV partners, and I can’t safely say when and where it will happen, but it’s definitely something we’re interested in and invest time on what’s the future of TV Ring of Honor. Thanks for the question.”
