Tegan Nox explains why she missed the ring for a while before the WWE edition last year.
Nox, aka Nixon Newell, talked to Alistair McGeorge for METRO On the eve of the upcoming appearance for Attack! Pro wrestling. During the interview, she discovered that an unknown disease led to her absence in the ring last year.
“I got incredibly ill for a while,” she said. “We didn’t get a legal answer. I went through tests, I was in the hospital, a bunch of different things. So I think it reduced a lot of stress mixed with other things. But I was really sick, which didn’t help in leisure time. I think it’s It all started, though I said, “I’m fine, I just get sick again.”
“I think it was a mix of them who wanted to be sure, wrong communicating with many different people, because it went from their doctors to external doctors to hospitals,” she added. “I think he is just lost in (translation) and similar things. But I think that unnecessary free time has started with the necessary free time, if that makes sense.”
Newell says she finally understood things with her doctors and was in medication, but at that moment she was never returned to WWE. Newell was released in November as part of a talent reduction, but she noted that she believed he would “be long before released.”
Tegan Nox has not fought since July 2024. The last match was a dark match with Blair Davenport on WWE on July 5 Smackdown shooting in Toronto.
