Seth Rollins He already knows who he wants to face at WWE WRESTLEMANIA 41, and if he had his way, he would start after the biggest prize in WWE.
Speaking during the appearance on Rich Eisen ShowRollins said that in the ideal world, he would go after one of the world titles at WWE WRESTLEMANI 41. He then said his dream match would face the indisputable WWE Cody Rhodes champion.
“In the perfect world, I’m challenging for one of the world championships,” Rollins said. “Whether it’s Gunther or Cody Rhodes … Jey Uso won the Royal Rumble. When you win the Royal Rumble in our world, you will get the opportunity to champion on Wrestlemania. Whether it’s Cody Rhodes or Gunther, which is ours Raw champion on Monday night, Cody is a smackdown champion, the winner of the elimination chamber generally gets the opportunity to cause the rest of the champions, whoever is not selected.
“I don’t know which one will swing. That could be Gunther, it could be Cody. Personally, I would love to enter the elimination chamber. I received a qualifying match here in a few weeks on Monday night RAW on Netflix. Enter the chamber, a stommp cm punk head in the rug, eliminate everything in that chamber, including John Cena, go to Wrestlemania, and my dream opponent is Cody Rhodes for that title. “
Although Rollins sounded open to any match, he explained that he believed it would be “very poetic” if he and Rhodes returned to the ring, especially after their altercation when Rhodes returned to Rollins by helping Rhodes to win a frivolous wwe championship on last year’s Wrestlemania 40.
“Cody is the guy who, when he returned to WWE, had a series of games,” Rollins said. “He won all of them, three in a row. I lost them all from Cody Rhodes. I helped Cody Rhodes on Wrestlemania last year winning the WWE Championship, (and) I think it would be very poetic when I would be able to take over WWE this year at Wrestlemania Cody Rhodes’ Championship.
