Report: AEW may consolidate titles

Critics and fans often claimed that all elite wrestling has too many titles. According to the new report, two AEW titles can be united.

In the Aew dynasty, Kenny Omega beat the Takeshita waitress to win the International Championship. This has led to many fans to buzz on a company that would potentially connect this title with the continental championship of Kazuchik Okada. Almost between the two had been rumored since Okada joined the company.

Sean Ross Sapp of Combat (through Fightful Select) reports that, according to AEW sources, this combination has been set and has passed several months. Sapp writes that many in the company believe it is a solid creative plan. There is no word about how the company could solve it, in the sense of whether the titles will form something collectively, to deal with or be reborn. Sapp also writes that the match was Omega and Okada were not confirmed as part of these plans.

Omega should defend the International Championship in the AEW dynasty. The winner of the International Championship Eliminator will face the winner of the tournament. This began on March 12. Episode AEW Dynamite, and will continue on Saturday on a collision.
