President Donald Trump is a passionate supporter of the UFC, and his Fandom even extends as distant meetings with the heads of other nations.
Trump met on Wednesday met Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) Micheál Martin as part of his annual commitments surrounding Saint-Patrick. Although they have talked a lot about trade agreements and prices that took the scene since Trump was inaugurated for his second term in January, it seems that the UFC is never far from the president’s mind.
Addressing journalists, Trump has actually taken the time to rent the former UFC champion with two Division Conor McGregor as well as his general admiration for all fighters from Ireland.

Of course, McGregor was a long-standing supporter of Trump and even attended his inauguration earlier this year at Washington DC after his arrival in the United States for the inauguration, McGregor celebrated by saying that he was going to watch Trump “becoming a double champion” after winning his initial elections in 2016, then winning again in 2024.
While Trump congratulated McGregor on Wednesday, he also spoke to support one of the greatest rivals in the Irish superstar.
During the election last November, Trump described Khabib Nurmagomedov as a “favorite fighter” while discussing his intervention plans in the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
It was not too well with McGregor, who called the “Abyssal” choice, but obviously he hung any resentment after obtaining his invitation to attend the inauguration where he was joined by the CEO of the UFC, Dana White, the UFC heavyweight champion, Jon Jones and the combat sports enthusiasts like Jake Paul.
