Magomed Ankalaev open to immediate revenge Alex Pereira, takes a photo on Jiri Propézka

Magomed Ankalaev already has a lot to say as a newly crowned UFC heavyweight champion.

The Russian star beat Alex Pereira via a methodical unanimous decision in the main event of the UFC 313 on Saturday to claim the crown, giving it boastful rights on one of the largest MMA stars. Indeed, Ankalaev went to social networks the next day to declare: “No Chama”, while praising her opponent and leaving the door open for an immediate revenge match.

“It was an honor sharing the cage with you,” tweeted Ankalaev in Pereira. “You are an excellent champion and your team, your coaches have a lot of lessons. Let’s go back to any time.

Ankalaev was not all compliments, because he also praised how his own striking skills compared to the punching power packed by Pereira, an aspect of the champion’s game now training which was significantly absent on Saturday.

“I look at the whole fight, I can tie the best attackers too much,” wrote Ankalaev. “The first three laps, I decided to hit with him, it was so fun and it was not easy when all that your opponent does is being executed. My pressure today was my best weapon and I am very happy.

Ankalaev also took the time to respond to the legend of the UFC Khabib Nurmagomedov, who congratulated him for Twitter.

Former light heavyweight champion Jiri Nearly joined the conversation to rent the performance of Ankalaev and suggest that Pereira meets it in a trilogy fight. He added that he could also go directly for the title that comes out of an impressive victory over Jamahal Hill at UFC 311, a comment that rubbed Ankalaev in the wrong direction.

“I think you are a fraud and that so many guys deserve it more than you,” wrote Ankalaev in response to now next. “You have to win a few fights.”

“This guy is a terrible fighter,” added Ankalaev in response to an Espn MMA tweet about Propzka.
