Magomed Ankalaev bent on the UFC fighters who chose Alex Pereira

The new UFC light heavyweight champion, Magomed Ankalaev, is the type of guy to make a statement without saying anything, as was the outgoing case of the UFC 313.

Ankalaev won the title of 205 pounds by Alex Pereira last Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In a somewhat surprising performance, Ankalaev mainly ignored her struggle while exceeding Pereira in five rounds to win a unanimous victory.

In the accumulation of UFC 313, Pereira was the popular choice to gain among UFC fighters and experts. Ankalaev, 32, has not lost since its inception in UFC in 2018, going 14 fights without defeat. His race includes one without competition (against Johnny Walker due to an illegal knee) and a draw against Jan Blachowicz in a vacant title fight in December 2022.

It is possible that the UFC fighters, which Ankalaev called the possibility of choosing the fight of Pereira, because Dana White said that it would be “probably” logical to make a revenge match after the UFC 313.
