JD McDonagh provides an update of injuries after suffering pierced lungs and broken ribs

JD McDonagh wants to go back to the WWE ring before, not later.

After a match with markings in January 2025 against the Raiders war, JD McDonagh revealed that he had suffered a broken rib and pierced lungs, which could not compete for several months. While appearing on Insight with Chris Van VlietSince then, a member of the Susic Day has given a positive update about his health.

“Time heals everything,” McDonagh said. “I wasn’t like that for the first week or two after that, but now I feel much better. (I feel) pretty good. My lungs are good. My ribs are good. I just wait somehow to wait for the bones to knit together before they clean me.”

According to McDonagh, his journey to recovery began with cardio activities with a small influence, such as skipping, at the gym in his early weeks. Since then, he has progressed to other careless exercises, like Pilates. From there, McDonagh hopes that he will return to the ring soon to run in and start the ropes.

“I would love to come back yesterday,” McDonagh said. “So boring to sit at home and watch guys traveling around, I’m so jealous. This week they go to Europe. On Monday, they work Madison Square Garden (for WWE RAW) and then go to Europe. So if I could go back, I would come back immediately. I hope to put a time box on it and say that I will be back. Li’s documents align, we’ll see that. “

Since his call to the main list of WWE 2023, McDonagh has established himself as a regular consolidation in the Day of Judgment Stable, with one ruler as the champion of the world team in his name.
