Marvin Vettori will return after almost two years from the octagon to give Roman Dolidze a chance of redemption.

The former UFC title challenger, Marvin Vettori (19-7-1 MMA, 9-5-1 UFC) will return after almost two years to give Roman Dolidze (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) a chance of redemption in the main event of the UFC Fight Night 254.

The first meeting between the couple took place at the UFC 286 in March 2023. Vettori won a victory in unanimous. The Italian has only fought once since then and was eliminated by Jared Cannonier in June 2023.

Dolidze has been 2-1 since his defeat against Vettori with victories on Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith in 2024 following a defeat against Nassourdine Imavov. Despite the long layoff of Vettori, he is a slight favorite of bets at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas when they go back.
