UFC 313 Win put me “back in the race” for the title

Las Vegas – Amanda Lemos has not finished continuing the UFC straw weight title, and with her last victory, she feels that she is back in the running.

Lemos (15-4-1 MMA, 9-4 UFC), a former UFC title challenger, defeated the young prospect Iasmin Lucindo (17-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC) by a unanimous decision on the main map of the UFC 313 on Saturday.

“I think I’m back in the race and I think I’m back in the race,” Lemos told journalists at the press conference after the UFC 313 battles. “I want to fight as soon as possible to simply consolidate what I could do with this development and go back for a championship.”

Lemos thinks she has made big jumps on her bases, repairing holes that cost her fights in the past. The 37 -year -old Brazilian wants to be active in 2025, so that she can quickly position herself in the title.

“The year has started in the right foot,” said Lemos. “I came here with a victory, showing the division that I improved where they saw faults, and I want to fight several times before the end of the year.”
