The AEW International Championship changed their hands to AEW Revolution.
In Aew Revolution, Kenny Omega caused Takeshita waitress for the AEW International Championship. The fight marked the first game of Omega on the standard AEW Pay-P-Prikaze from AEW Full Gear 2023, because he missed for more than a year due to divorticulitis.
Omega and Takehita fought with stubborn matches. Don Callis mixed several times, but Omega persisted and achieved victory by grabbing Takeshit with an attempt by PIN who held him for the Count. As a result, Omega won the AEW International Championship for the first time.
The Takehita was in her first rule with gold. He won the title with the defeat of Will Osreay and Ricochet at Aew Wrestledream in October 2024. Takehita held the title for 148 days.
